Namibia

About this gallery

Namibia is a wildlife location like no other. Animals survive by adapting to the harsh desert conditions and obtain water by eating from the vegetation in the dry river beds. Water holes are provided for the desert adapted African elephants who need a vast amount of water daily to survive. They are smaller than those seen in usual safari locations in Africa and have much smaller ankles and wider feet. It was an amazing experience to see how animals survived in this harsh but beautiful landscape.
